What is the difference between a JAZZ electric bass, and a PERCISION electric bass?????? SOUND??????LOOKS??????? how many types of basses are there?????
There are thousands of brands of basses- a Jazz bass is made by Fender and it has a smaller neck than the Precision bass also made by Fender. If you go to Fender's website you can see the differences, i personally prefer the Fender Jazz to a precision. They do sound different, rock and punk usually choose the Precision while other types of music often choose the Jazz - slap bass players like the Jazz also-but you can find your own sound and play any style with either one.
